20% L-ascorbic acid (Vitamin C):
Vitamin C is a very powerful antioxidant that is not effectively absorbed by the skin due to its structure. The characteristics of the Dr. SERRAR® preparation of this serum allow vitamin C to be absorbed by the skin effectively:
2) an acid pH of between 2.0 and 3.5;
3) a 20% concentration in a 100% hypoallergenic formula.
Essential for the proper functioning of the body, vitamin C is present in the skin where, by trapping a certain category of free radicals, it combats the damage caused by oxidative stress. and helps protect against oxidative stress while providing visible anti-aging benefits. It is also an asset to fight pigmentary disorders, redensify the extracellular matrix and fight against inflammation in order to soothe the skin. On the face, the effects of this multitasking actives are immediate: fine lines are reduced, the complexion is more even and the radiance is given a second breath.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3)
Used by our skin, Niacinamide offers several actions:

Sodium Hyaluronate
Sodium hyaluronate is the salt of hyaluronic acid. It is a natural component of connective tissue. It easily penetrates the epidermis and is then able to absorb a large amount of water, up to 20 times its weight.
Discovered in the 1930s, hyaluronic acid is abundant in the dermis of young skin, but its quantity decreases with age: the skin then appears more damaged, with wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid is a fairly large molecule which has difficulty penetrating the skin, and is much more effective when injected. In a cosmetic, its salt is used: sodium hyaluronate is a much smaller molecule, which penetrates more easily and can then move into the deep layers of the skin. This salt is a powerful humectant that attracts and retains water to it, making it the hydrating product of choice for the skin: it helps keep it “moist”. As it attracts and binds to water, it causes slight swelling, which reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to give the skin a more youthful appearance.
1% alpha-tocopherol
This form of vitamin E neutralizes free radicals and replenishes the lipids in the skin. As has been proven, alpha-tocopherol works synergistically with vitamin C, each regenerating the other. Above all, it helps soothe the skin and protect it from the harmful effects of pollution. Consequences; less signs of fatigue on the face.

Pro-Vitamin B5
Panthenol is an alcohol widely used in cosmetics. Panthenol improves hydration, reduces itching and inflammation of the skin. It accelerates and improves the healing of epidermal wounds. It is often used in sunburn treatment products. When panthenol is applied locally, it penetrates the lower layers of the skin, is absorbed by skin cells and transformed into pantothenic acid (more commonly known as vitamin B5). It is this penetration that allows essential hydration.
0.5% ferulic acid
A plant-based antioxidant, ferulic acid neutralizes free radicals and enhances the antioxidant benefits of vitamins C and E.
